Residencies:

Daly Ranch, State of California Ecological Preserve, Jamul, California.  Artist in residence in a  3000’ galvanized metal fruit packing shed, at a 20,000 acre working cattle historic ranch.  I call the space, and my work within it, “Cranium.”  The requirements of the State are that I make nothing for sale.  The free access of rats and bats and owls require the roll-up doors be left open 24/7.  My own prerogatives demand no power, lights, flame or fabrication of the temporary works I make.  Completely liberating, I assemble and photograph sculptures of mirror, glass, metal and wood debris, charting the natural light of this amazing place and building.  The search for the residency, building and work was sparked by my need to recreate my visual migraines.   2019 -
